About EMDRNZ
The New Zealand EMDR Association is affiliated with EMDR Asia and the worldwide alliance of national EMDR associations.
This website provides information to the greater EMDR community including clinicians, researchers, and the public that our members serve as well as offering training and accreditation to NZ based EMDR therapists.
EMDR is designated as an effective treatment by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Australian Phoenix Australia – Centre for Post-traumatic Mental Health, the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs, the Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as well as many other international health agencies. This powerful psychotherapy approach has helped over an estimated two million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological distress.
